June 24, 2004: Maddo has unique tastes in food. Right now, she loves plain, cold iceberg lettuce with absolutely no dressing on it! She also likes plain rice, no soysauce! But her favorite would still have to be chocolate, just like her two Gu-gus. She still loves fruit too, especially strawberries, oranges, apples and bananas. If Maddo refuses to eat a slice a orange, then we KNOW that it's way too sour for us! She can handle a lot of sourness.

August 24, 2004: Maddo started school on July 6, 2004, going two days a week. She was having a hard time adjusting to the school environment and letting go of Mommy. But finally, on August 17, 2004, 7 weeks later, she was in the playground area in the morning, playing with the wooden blocks with some other children and suddenly said, "Ok Mommy, you can go now." I was so shocked, but sooo relieved! Mads is doing well in school and all the other kids like her. On that tuesday, Aug. 17, she didnt even cry the whole day and all the kids in her class were also excited for her, exclaiming to the teachers, "Madeleine isn't crying anymore!" There is also a cute blond boy named Dillon and a cute blond girl named Kyla that like Mads and play with her a lot. But they're older and will be moving to the 3 year old room in September. Maddo's teacher suggested that I add another day to Maddo's schedule, so she can better adapt and feel more like this class is her class. So beginning in September, she will be attending school 3 days a week.

August 31, 2004: The last day of Summer session at Maddo's school.

Maddo's class had a goodbye party for all those kids moving up to the 3 year old room in the fall. Maddo is staying in the two year old room this coming year. Maddo's teachers are an absolute blessing to Maddo. They take Maddo along everywhere around school and gives her lots of special attention. Maddo had a difficult time adjusting to school, but finally started adapting after 7 weeks. She's doing great now and is almost potty-trained! (9-14-04).
MAD Dawg!!
Alrighty, let's see how this cupcake tastes. I must use my fingers in order to experience its full flavor.
Wow, is this dark chocolate?
Hmm, better protect my booty from those other predators next to me. If I smother it with my hand, they probably won't want it, BWAHAHA!
I KNOW you ain't lookin' at my cupcake, bucko.
BACK-OFF!
What's that, teacher? Oh yes, I'm fine. Cupcake good. Ladida. *pat* *pat* What are YOU lookin' at?
